I saved a LIFE today!!!!

Yeah so it was just a turtle, but it was a BIG turtle! The biggest i have personally seen in the wild. It was about 2 and 1/2 milk jugs, if you can imagine them all as 1. As I was taking my BF to work just a bit ago it was about 5:45 AM, I could see it in the opposite lane, but as I was watching traffic and the road around me, I could only catch a quick glimpse....kind of looked like a big wet leaf bag, with stains on it so I was like: "Was that a TURTLE in the road??" BF says" I don't know!" with a tone to his voice like *have you taken your meds today* WTF ever , so *note to self* take same route home, make sure the thing is not a bag, if its NOT remove from road. So I came back thru and it had moved, so as I got closer I slowed, and sure enough it was a turtle....I pulled over and went over to it suspecting the worst, but it looked ok and man was it ornery! I tapped it with my foot, and it shot its big head out and tried to bite. So I tapped it harder and said KNOCK IT OFF!! Trying to save you from being road kill!, Taking a huge sigh I got ready and grabbed it under the shell and lifted.OMG!! WTF have you been eating!? He was lunging hos head out and kicking trying to get me, but where I grabbed I was safe. He was about as heave as a case of soda. CASE not 12 pack. I was out of breath by the time I walked the 30-50 feet out to where the river/stream was. I put him as close as the long grass would let me and tapped his butt, told him get in there. Well I left to run home and get my camera, since I was only 6 blocks away, but by the time I got back he was gone. YOUR WELCOME!!
